So I've got a question. My mobility teacher lent me a telescopic cane for the week just to see how I like it. I like it fine, but I have a small problem. Every segment on the cane will go down except toe very bottom one. It's really, really jammed up. How do I unjam it? I imagine you don't unjam it the way you would a regular folding cane with wax paper or soap, but I could be wrong. Thanks in advance,

Hmmm! You could try applying heat to it, not too hot mind, or you'll melt the plastic coating on the outside. Use a hair dryer or some other hot air blowing device. I know this sometimes works if the push on tips won't come off the bottom of some canes.

twist the joint while sliding it together at the same time. works for me sometime.
